The Shelter of God's Promises by Sheila Walsh

This is the first book I read from Sheila Walsh and I can tell you that she
writes from her heart. Her stories are very detailed, she probably keeps a
journal because the amount of detail are really amazing if they come from her
memory alone.

God's Promises are as follows:
  • Provision- I Don't Have Enough
  • Peace- I'm Afraid and Feel Alone
  • Confidence-I Can't See God's Plan in this Pain
  • Love- I Don't Believe that Anyone Could Really Love Me
  • Grace- I Have Failed
  • Hope- I'm Broken
  • Strength- I Feel Things Are Crashing Around Me
  • More- I Know There's Something Better
  • Home- I have a Future
If you like a book full of personal experiences along with scriptures that is Christ centric you want to read this book. But if you are the type of person  that likes to go to the point and want your attention to be grabbed by the book I will think twice about this choice. Maybe the timing in my life does not match  with the audience of this book. The chapters were slow for me and it took me a long time to complete. I think it was the style/structure of the book.

The book also included Bible Study/Devotional at the end that may be use for  small groups.
